GRAMMYS : Country categories

Chris Stapleton is the country frontrunner for Monday's Grammy Awards with four nods. He grabbed nominations in the prestigious all-genre Album of the Year for TravellerBest Country Album for Traveller, and Best Solo Country Performance and the Song of the Year songwriters' award for "Traveller." 

Sam Hunt has two nominations -- he's a contender for the all-genre Best New Artist and has a chance to take home Country Album of the Year for Montevallo

Little Big Town also has two nominations. They're up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Girl Crush" and Country Album of the Year for Pain Killer. The writers of "Girl Crush" are also up for Song of the Year.

Ashley Monroe also has a chance to take home two Grammys. She has a nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for "Lonely Tonight," her duet with Blake Shelton, and Country Album of the Year for The Blade

The 58th annual Grammy Awards air Monday at 8 p.m. on CBS.

ACM Nominations

The nominees for the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards are in and Eric Church and Chris Stapleton are the front-runners with five nods apiece. Cam, Chris Young and Little Big Town have four nominations each. Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett are contenders in three categories. Dierks Bentley made the announcement on today (Monday) on CBS This Morning.

The show, hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks, airs live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3rd on CBS.
